A-CROSS offers full delivery services to any country in the world, by sea or by air. We will advise customs requirements for your destination, as well as provide sound advice on scheduling and timing.

Our primary focus is client satisfaction. We have successfully completed thousands of international moves and have one of the lowest insurance claim rates in the industry. We know how important your personal effects are to you, and we pack them with such care as if they were our own. Companies who specialize in domestic moves lack the knowledge and experience of export shipping, and you run the risk of breakage and damage. You have been warned!

Air shipments can take between 1 and 2 weeks, depending on the destination and the speed of customs clearance procedures in the destination country, although it is always best to allow at least 10 days.

Do you offer surveys for free?

We offer surveys free of charge for the Tokyo / Osaka / Kobe areas. Please contact us for any inquiries.

How long does a survey take?

Generally thirty minutes to one hour, depending on the total volume of items to be shipped.

What documents are required?

In order to get clearance from Japan Customs for household goods, we require a copy of the shipper’s passport (other family members’ passports are not needed), and a copy of an air ticket showing the shipper’s itinerary from Japan to the final destination. Requirements for import at the destination depend on the country.

I don't have a permanent address abroad yet. Can you delay my shipment until I have found a place?

Yes, we can arrange to hold your household goods in our warehouse until you are ready to receive them. Many people send a small amount of essentials by air freight and time their sea freight to arrive a month or two later when they are settled in their new home.

I've never heard of your overseas partner – are they reliable?

Our partners have been selected through years of experience and hundreds of successfully completed moves. We only work with overseas partners who we know are capable of providing the same level of service that we ourselves give our customers in Japan. In addition, we work almost exclusively with members of the International Association of Movers, ensuring that our partners are internationally reputable.
